Title I
The Title I funds are used to provide supplemental core academic instruction, instructional support, and parental involvement and engagement to schools to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State Academic Achievement Standards and State Academic Assessments.
Title II
Title II Part A funds are used to increase academic achievement by providing supplemental funds to implement strategies that improve the quality of instruction and leadership through improving teacher and leader quality. Title II Part A funds increase the number of highly capable Principals, Assistant Principals, and teachers in schools. It also holds local educational agencies and schools accountable for improvements in scholar academic achievement.
Title IV
The Title IV Part A funds are used to provide scholar enrichment and activities that enhance scholar achievement in Safety and Health, Digital Literacy, or providing a well-rounded education.
Ed-Flex Waiver
The Educational Flexibility (Ed-Flex) program is authorized under the Education Flexibility Partnership Act of 1999 and was reauthorized by section 9207 of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The Ed-Flex program allows the Secretary to authorize a State educational agency that serves an eligible State to waive statutory or regulatory requirements applicable to one or more of the included programs for any local educational agency (LEA), educational service agency, or school within the State.
Ivy will apply for the Ed-Flex Waiver for the 2023-2024 school year. Ivy Preparatory Academy will focus on Scholar Intervention through an after school and/or summer personalized learning. Scholars will be identified using a rank and serve criteria. A pre/post test will be administered to measure baseline and growth. Intervention strategies will be determined for each scholar based on performance data. This includes services for students receiving support such as ESOL, MTSS or SWD. Ivy's goal is to move scholars from "Developing"and "Beginning" to Proficient" on standardized measures.

Title IX
Ivy Prep Academy does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education program and activities, as required by Title IX. Such a requirement to not discriminate extends to admission and employment. As required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Ivy Prep prohibits all unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation on the basis of sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation in any employment decision, admissions determination, education program or educational activity. Effective August 14, 2020, pursuant to federal regulations implementing Title IX, any complaint involving “sexual harassment” as defined by those federal regulations that occur in an Ivy Preparatory Academy education program or activity against a person in the United States shall be addressed pursuant to the Ivy Preparatory Academy Title IX Grievance Procedure, available below. Testing Security
Parents as we enter the testing season, we wanted to reassure you that your scholar’s test scores will be accurate because we have strict testing securities in place. Teachers do not have access to the test outside of the testing window of time. Test booklets are counted daily and shelved in a securely locked room. If you are ever aware of any concerns please feel free to report them to your scholar’s administrator.
