Assessment Day

On Saturday, May 17 we will be administering the Stanford 10 Achievement Test to assess our students before school starts in August. For 80 years, the Stanford 10 has been the standard of excellence in achievement testing for 80 years. Testing will take place at the Georgia Gwinnett College located at #1000 University Center Lane, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. Click here for directions to GGC.

Testing will start promptly at 10:00 am and will conclude by noon. Students should plan to arrive to the testing place by 9:30 am. The test will cover the areas of language arts and math. Due to space limitations at GGC, we ask that only one parent accompanies the student(s) to the test.

This assessment is NOT an admissions test. It is necessary so that teachers can identify students' strengths, and help those children who are at risk of being left behind. Parents will understand what their children know and what they can do and how they can help them. The test will help to determine each student's current level of readiness in order to plan for appropriate instruction.

While the students are taking the assessment we will hold an Information Session for the parents where we will provide information and updates about the curriculum, facilities and other topics about the upcoming opening of IPA.
